As a Senior Producer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality work within your area of expertise. You will act as a mentor and role model for the team, setting high standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be an experienced, highly motivated and collaborative member of the production team, responsible for driving the development of critical path, multi-disciplinary features, ensuring they are delivered on time and to agreed quality. You will work closely with design, engineering, art, audio and other disciplines to deliver both short- and long-term goals, always considering the needs and priorities of the whole game. You will set clear, measurable goals, communicate status with clarity, and manage risks to delivery. You will balance leadership with a hands-on approach, guiding and mentoring direct reports to help them grow, while setting a benchmark for other producers to aspire to.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coordinate, and plan major aspects of the project from concept through to post launch
Support the Production Director and Lead Producer in bringing the project to life
Collaboration with departmental directors and leads to balance competing priorities
Help to source feature definition for teams, remove obstacles, and enable efficient development
Problem-solving using production techniques to address issues, including dealing with sensitive, complex and unclear issues, to allow teams to focus on their tasks for the project
Lead process work and own all aspects of planning to facilitate delivery
Ensure development goals are understood and communicated to the team and stakeholders
Inspire confidence through decision-making and pragmatic insight
Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, leads and teams
Maintain close collaboration with Project Management to generate hard data and use it for decision making
Work closely with other Producers to balance available resources and predict risks
Able to mentor and manage less experienced Producers
On occasion as business requires, line manage non-Production members of staff
Represent the Studio in a professional and appropriate manner at external events or with external parties, solo or as part of a group
Stay familiar with industry trends and competitor products
Requirements:
Significant experience in game development, with a full development cycle on at least two shipped titles, including at least one AAA title, and projects involving teams of 100+ people
At least 6+ years’ industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior production role overseeing cross-discipline features on complex projects
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, adept at prioritising tasks and managing competing priorities with attention to detail and quality
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, capable of tailoring information to different audiences and working effectively across teams
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balancing priorities to meet deadlines
