Job Description:

As a Senior Procurement Specialist for our Life Sciences Division, you will drive strategic supply chain management and procurement excellence across our LATAM portfolio of pharmaceutical, medical device, and GMP-regulated facilities. This multi-disciplined role combines deep expertise in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) with advanced procurement and sourcing capabilities to manage complex initiatives and integrated outsourcing processes. You'll be instrumental in delivering procurement governance, vendor management, and contract strategies that achieve long-term client benefits while supporting JLL's global operations. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to serve critical life sciences clients by ensuring compliant, cost-effective, and innovative facility management solutions that meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical and medical device environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic Supply Chain Management & Procurement direction across functional areas and programs involving strategic outsourcing and vendor management for life sciences facilities
  • Manage comprehensive RFP, pricing, and negotiation processes for clients, setting savings targets and goals for IFM and SCMP programs while developing performance tracking metrics
  • Conduct active vendor management including quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, driving initiatives for defined category suppliers, and serving as subject matter expert for specialized life sciences procurement
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to collate category requirements including spend analysis, demand forecasting, and supplier requirements in structured formats from business units and end markets
  • Design and deliver sourcing plans and strategies, balancing business needs, company risk, and supply market capability to determine optimum routes to maximum value for GMP/GDP environments
  • Implement and maintain procurement rules and standards set by JLL and clients while ensuring sourcing strategies align with global category strategy, plans, and targets
  • Continually assess global and regional market environments, supply base trends, and identify major industry developments to define optimum strategies for life sciences operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in similar procurement role within life sciences industry/pharmaceutical industry
  • Advanced English level
  • Demonstrated experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) with specialized knowledge of procurement for services related to pharmaceutical and medical device facility management
  • Proven experience managing outsourcing relationships in GMP, GDP, or other regulated environments with ability to accomplish results through effective vendor management
  • Strong competency in financial modeling, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership analysis for complex procurement decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, and strong analytical ability with proven capability to analyze complex problems and generate innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral with demonstrated ability to manage dispute situations and conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in English and local language with excellent PC skills and proficiency in all MS Office applications
