Our client, a multi-media organization is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis with strong potential to extend into 2027 in Washington, DC.
Job Responsibility
Lead planning and execution of assigned RFP processes, including timelines and procurement strategies
Develop Statements of Work, solicitation documents, evaluation criteria, and pricing structures
Collaborate with internal teams to gather and refine business requirements
Conduct market research and evaluate vendors/suppliers
Monitor contract performance and ensure deliverables are met
Facilitate proposal evaluations (technical, cost/price, and panel coordination)
Draft and manage contract documentation and support negotiations
Maintain procurement files and ensure compliance with government regulations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
Strong experience in government procurement, RFP development, and contracting
Deep understanding of FAR, DAR, and compliance requirements
Ability to manage multiple RFPs in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
Experience with construction and/or IT procurements preferred
Familiarity with grant-funded environments and regulated sectors a plus
