Job Description:

As a Senior / Procurement Project Specialist at NTS Singapore, you will play a critical role in supporting RFQs, New Product Introductions (NPI), and key sourcing activities that directly impact project success. You will develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, manage NPI material readiness, and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. Working closely with Category Management, Engineering, and Operations, you will strengthen the supply chain and drive supplier performance across our high-tech manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead sourcing activities for RFQs and NPI projects, ensuring best cost, optimal lead time, and strong supply chain flexibility
  • Source, evaluate, and audit suppliers according to NTS supplier qualification processes
  • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with Category Strategy to support project and business objectives
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and drive mitigation plans for critical components
  • Manage NPI material readiness to support On-Time Delivery (OTD) for new product launches
  • Issue and track First Article (FA) Purchase Orders while monitoring supplier performance and responsiveness
  • Ensure timely completion of RFQs and maintain RFQ master files for quotation traceability
  • Support cost, lead-time, and quality targets by ensuring supplier competitiveness and capability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Planning, Category Managers, and Quality teams to support procurement project execution

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Strong experience sourcing build-to-print parts such as machining, sheet metal, PCBA, and cable assembly within a manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech sectors
  • Experience in project-based procurement, NPI material management, production transfers, or supply chain project execution
  • Strong understanding of cost breakdowns, total cost of ownership (TCO), and cost-saving methodologies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and evaluate supplier capabilities (SWOT analysis, capability mapping, NDA, audits)
  • Skilled in supplier management, negotiation, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Data-driven, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of industry regulations, trade compliance, and ethical sourcing standards
