We are currently recruiting for a Senior Procurement Practitioner to join a high-performing procurement team supporting a critical phase of the Dreadnought Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of procurement activities within a complex and highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to quality, cost, and schedule requirements while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, negotiations, purchase order creation, and supplier management
Manage supplier performance and ensure delivery against quality, cost, and schedule requirements
Support supplier assessment and due diligence activities
Track and report cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives
Resolve routine supplier issues and escalate complex problems when required
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and update systems including SAP, eDMS, and Teamcenter
Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
Support contract and tender processes including RFIs, ITTs, and supplier down-selection activities
Assist with cost forecasting within assigned procurement scope
Requirements:
Sound knowledge of procurement principles and supply chain practices
Experience in supplier management, negotiation, and contract administration
Good understanding of commercial aspects of contracts
Strong organisation, planning, and project management skills
Good financial awareness and cost management capability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise business systems (e.g., SAP)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
