Senior Procurement Manager

• Manage the procurement process within a dedicated Business Unit (BU)
• Lead regional or global category strategies in close coordination with the Global Procurement Center
• Enable the business line to secure optimal supplier agreements, balancing cost efficiency and speed to market
• Drive cost savings and value generation through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
• Collaborate with the Global Procurement Center to leverage global procurement synergies
• Provide professional procurement support to the BU and ensure sign-off at defined procurement tollgates
• Ensure early procurement involvement in business planning and strategic initiatives
• Partner with Finance & Controlling (F&C) to align procurement with business strategies and change initiatives
• Act as process owner for the end-to-end procurement process within CK
• Ensure compliance with procurement and HSE policies and procedures
• Engage with key stakeholders to deliver agreed service levels
• Operate as a procurement business partner, guiding the business through all procurement phases like Prequalification, Strategy development, RFQ and contract development and Evaluation and negotiation

• A university degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering is required
• alternatively, significant professional experience in Procurement or Supply Chain may substitute formal education
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication in an international environment
• Utilize procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, DocuSign, JDE, and ServiceNow would be a great benefit
