Our client is a leading national healthcare supply chain provider. We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee beyond the transactional buying to drive high-level value creation and innovation of the procurement team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create long-term plans for buying different types of medical gear
  • Analysis of market trends, focusing on category consolidation, market horizon scanning, and the adoption of emerging health technologies
  • Act as a key bridge between clinical champions, biomedical engineers, and administrative heads to align technical requirements with operational goals and drive product rationalisation
  • Oversee the full life-cycle of complex RFPs, from meticulous total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and high-stakes contract negotiations to ensuring strict adherence to governance and compliance frameworks
  • Manage strategic relationships with global and local Med-Tech suppliers to optimise performance, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure long-term supply chain resilience
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team while championing continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with min. 5 years of experience in strategic procurement and people management
  • Deep technical knowledge and experiences in medical equipment industry preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP is advantageous
