Senior Procurement Engineer

• Implementation of procurement strategies for packages/components for large-scale, complex energy projects, in collaboration with project stakeholders
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as project managers, department heads, and finance, to understand procurement needs and align strategies with organizational goals
• Contract follow-up and management
• Communication with site partners and colleagues to support on-site activities
• Support in project management (e.g. preparing presentations, attending meetings with clients)
• Coordination of project procurement activities — providing an overview of procurement both at the office and on site, ensuring execution and verifying procurement needs
• Support in supplier evaluation and selection processes, considering factors such as cost, quality, reliability, delivery timelines, and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective partnerships

• 2+ years’ experience in the engineering field (procurement, contracts/tender, sales, engineering roles)
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in procurement practices and vendor evaluation will be an asset
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
