Senior Process Engineer | Food & Beverage Industry About the Opportunity Randstad is proud to be exclusively recruiting for a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions. Our client is dedicated to making food safe and available everywhere while protecting people and the planet. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their projects and pre-projects team in Melbourne. This is an initial 3–6 month contract starting ASAP, with a strong potential for extension based on an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and handle the design specification and dimensioning of process equipment and integrated solutions
  • Engage in the full project lifecycle, from initial design through to installation and commissioning
  • Provide technical support to the sales organization during the pre-project stage, including developing budgets and timelines
  • Lead technical discussions with customers and interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver top-notch solutions
  • Ensure all technical solutions comply with internal quality requirements, ISO 9001:2015, and OHS standards
  • Travel to customer sites as required for installation, commissioning, and issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Background in Chemical Engineering
  • A minimum of 7+ years of process engineering experience specifically within the food or beverage industry
  • Strong ability to draw, read, and understand P&IDs
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills to work effectively within a team environment
  • A self-motivated, result-driven professional with the ability to work autonomously
