As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be the technical lead for all process aspects involved in the creation of new parts within our Rubber Division. Your mission is to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in production while maintaining accountability for yields and comparing planned vs. actual outcomes. You will serve as a key figure in driving precision, accuracy, and rigorous adherence to quality standards through meticulous work instructions and problem-solving initiatives. Based in Johor
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and analyze production yields specifically for the rubber Division on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Liaise with the QA team to monitor daily rejection rates and implement corrective actions for online defects
Identify discrepancies by tracking actual vs. planned cycle times and implementing measures to enhance accuracy
Lead all in-process problem-solving initiatives for the rubber Division to swiftly address production challenges and optimize workflows
Conduct in-depth analysis of high-rejection parts and collaborate with production leaders to implement effective solutions
Create meticulous Work Instructions and Caution Points for control areas to ensure adherence to operational procedures
Study process parameters and update Process Sheets as necessary to facilitate continuous improvement
Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineers to understand new project requirements and provide feedback for tooling repairs or enhancements
Requirements:
Engineering Degree Holder
Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in LSR molding and rubber molding techniques and materials is highly preferred
