Job Description

The Privacy and Responsible AI team is an internal service provider that supports Sportradar's fast growth by ensuring a solid and secure foundation. As a Senior Privacy Analyst, you will play a key role in driving Sportradar’s global privacy program. Your responsibilities will include leading Privacy by Design initiatives and conducting ad‑hoc privacy assessments, ensuring that privacy risks are accurately identified, evaluated, and effectively remediated. You will also own the ongoing maintenance of our Risk Register, overseeing the lifecycle of recorded privacy risks, coordinating with stakeholders to gather evidence of mitigation, and ensuring that our risk framework remains robust, up‑to‑date, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Privacy by Design activities and conduct ad‑hoc privacy assessments, including identifying privacy risks, recommending mitigation measures, and supporting stakeholders through remediation
  • Maintain and enhance the privacy risk framework, including ongoing ownership of the OneTrust risk register and coordination with teams to collect evidence that risks have been effectively mitigated
  • Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc privacy reports for Enterprise Risk Management, Board‑level audiences, and internal stakeholders, highlighting key risks, trends, and developments
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in global privacy and data protection laws, conduct periodic research, and contribute to internal updates such as the privacy newsletter
  • Support internal and external audits, including ISO‑related audits, by coordinating evidence collection, responding to audit requests, and tracking remediation activities
  • Provide privacy support for M&A due diligence and integration activities, including risk identification and alignment with internal privacy standards
  • Assist with Data Subject Request (DSR) investigations and responses, ensuring timely and compliant handling where needed
  • Support data breach investigations, including fact‑finding, documentation, and coordination with relevant internal teams
  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and updating of privacy policies, notices, and cookie compliance documentation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in privacy or data protection roles within an international environment
  • Working knowledge of Privacy by Design concept and experience supporting product teams
  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to work efficiently with senior stakeholders from different business units
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented individual with the ability to work in fast-paced environment and to manage competing priorities
