Senior Principal Engineer

By deeply understanding our systems and the cloud platforms we are operating on, we can design and implement systems and strategies for increasing the effectiveness of the resource consumption and hence minimizing the cost while maximizing the performance of our systems as well as our customers. We're looking for an experienced Senior Principal Engineer to provide architectural oversight and technical leadership to our growing Resource Efficiency organization. You will bring a wealth of experience in architecting complex cloud scale systems. You will also need to be comfortable working with senior leadership and in navigating cross org challenges. You will be working with the team to define architectural/organizational future states that we can scale going forward. You will be key for making the calls to balance the vision for the problem space and the current business & technology critical challenges. The role will report directly to the Head of Engineering for Resource Efficiency. This is a remote-friendly opportunity, specifically for Pacific Time Zone only.
