Job Description

We are seeking Senior / Principal Engineer for our Santa Clara Headquarters to take a leading role in the Prisma Access Browser team. You will be instrumental in developing our Enterprise Browser, a product designed to secure business online activity by isolating web sessions, filtering threats, and preventing data leaks. In this role, you will lead platform projects end-to-end, own critical workflows, and drive substantial improvements across the entire product.

Job Responsibility

  • Create and own features from design and development through to deployment and support in customer environments
  • Lead platform projects end-to-end, owning specific flows and delivering substantial product improvements
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure gaps and pursue new initiatives
  • Work closely with product management and customers to devise creative and innovative solutions to complex security challenges
  • Serve as a technical leader, mentoring other engineers and improving the team's overall performance and best practices
  • Identify areas for improvement within team processes and actively drive positive change through new initiatives or optimizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one backend technology
  • Demonstrated experience building and owning complex software projects throughout the entire development lifecycle
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a positive and proactive mindset

  • Significant experience in browser extension development
  • Professional experience with Golang
  • Experience working on enterprise-grade security products

  • Help tenants secure and maintain public benefits, stay current with rent obligations, and address barriers that may affect successful tenancy
  • Coordinate with property staff during unit checks, pest control visits, and habitability follow-up to help resolve housing-related issues
  • Connect residents with employment resources, health services, behavioral health support, and other community-based programs, while encouraging follow-through with referrals
  • Organize tenant meetings, community activities, and group events that foster connection, participation, and a supportive living environment
  • Respond appropriately to urgent tenant situations by using de-escalation techniques, documenting incidents, and involving internal teams or outside providers when needed
  • Maintain accurate case records, service notes, files, and related documentation while protecting confidentiality and meeting reporting expectations
