Strong, proven experience as a CDM Principal Designer
The confidence to take ownership of multiple projects from day one
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience across new build, refurbishment and multi-sector schemes
A desire to progress into leadership as the team grows

Job Responsibility

Acting as Principal Designer across live schemes
Advising clients on their duties under CDM 2015
Leading on design risk management and compliance
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
Supporting, guiding and mentoring the wider CDM team
Playing a key part in shaping the future direction of the CDM function

NEBOSH Construction Certificate (required)
Tech IOSH (minimum)
APS membership (preferred)
Design degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying (preferred)
3 years’ minimum experience delivering PD duties
Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations and design risk
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Responsibility

Work closely with clients and design teams to ensure risk is effectively managed from concept design through to handover
Provide expert advice
Prepare CDM documentation
Take the lead on multiple medium to large scale projects
