Carriera is excited to partner with an independent multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who operate across 8 offices in the UK with a headcount of 1200+ construction professionals. Due to impressive growth plans and a number of large project wins they are in the position to hire an experienced Senior CDM/Principal Designer to join the team out of the London office. Our client works across a varied portfolio of projects within the built environment, with organisations such as Royal Household, Land Securities, and the Crown Estate to name a few. Along with large scale redevelopments of South East London and a £600m mixed used scheme in the heart of the capital. The business is looking to hire an ambitious Senior CDM/ Principal Designer to join the team and make an impact on these projects and many more, this is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking individual to join an innovative consultancy and move up the ranks at a client that is truly a leader in health and safety consultancy.

Job Responsibility

  • Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base
  • Ensure that all sites are CDM compliant, and the relevant documentation is in place and in date
  • Familiar with all associated documentation relating to CDM 2015 e.g CPP's, PCI's, H&S file etc
  • Attend design team and client meetings and advise on risk
  • Carrying out investigations into all accidents/ incidents, fires and dangerous occurrences
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S, including CDM and Environmental legislation
  • Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction (minimum)
  • Excellent working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Member to IOSH or APS
