Senior / Principal Civil & Structural Technician

• Lead the production of steel layouts and connection details
• Lead the production of reinforced concrete detailing, schedules and BBS
• Lead the production of drainage layouts and foundation drawings
• Check and review drawings and models for technical compliance and quality
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams during design development and delivery
• Show commercial awareness with the ability to work to programmes, budgets and project deadlines
• Deliver design packages with minimal supervision
• Provide mentoring, guidance and technical coaching to junior team

• Extensive practical experience in Civil & Structural design, with proven expertise in structural steel and reinforced concrete detailing
• Proven experience delivering projects within the industrial, energy and/or water sectors
• Proficiency in industry – standard 2D and 3D design tools, including AutoCAD and Revit (essential) with experience of AVEVA E3D preferred
• Good understanding of Eurocodes and relevant UK civil and structural design standards
• Experienced in working with both point cloud data and topographical survey data
• Experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept and FEED through to detailed design
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Reside locally to Pembroke or be prepared to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage.
