Atlassian is seeking a Senior Principal in Strategy and Business Operations who will collaborate cross-functionally and drive Atlassian’s central strategy, operational planning and business reviews engine. Job Responsibility:

  • Drive strategic and data-driven decision-making and help inform business decisions through analysis, research and insights
  • Drive special strategic projects focused on high priority business problems, identify actionable insights, deliver strategic recommendations and analyses, to influence and drive consensus across functional leaders
  • Monitor and deeply understand business performance in a multi-product environment and diagnose the root cause of problems when they occur
  • Lead and manage key operational processes to crystallize long range planning and company strategy into short and medium term plans and measure the plan outcomes
  • Own and drive weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews against the full P&L which clearly inform executive team of progress against operational plan and health of key drivers of the business
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, data science and finance teams

Requirements:

  • 12+ years experience in high growth Software / tech industry in biz ops and/or consulting, investment banking roles
  • A deep understanding of Enterprise Software business models - both Sales-driven (eg have an understanding of sales strategies, quotas, territories, HC planning, pipeline generation) and Product-Led-Growth (e.g. funnel dynamics)
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze data, derive key insights and diagnose business issues
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail to drive program management and execution of strategy
  • Ability to think big picture with a cross-portfolio perspective while connecting the dots in a multi-product environment
  • Strong executive presence - excellent verbal & written communications skills
  • A sense of ownership and a desire to run independently
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and business modeling
