Job Description:

Randstad Canada is seeking for an experienced and highly analytical Senior Pricing Analyst for a pivotal six-month contract. The Senior Pricing Analyst is a pivotal role dedicated to driving revenue growth and optimizing profit margins. This is achieved by leveraging advanced data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. In this position, you will be responsible for developing insights and strategic recommendations to optimize pricing structures, enhance profit margins, and maximize overall revenue growth.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze market and industry data, and identify pricing trends and opportunities
Apply AI, computer science, and statistical methodologies to execute comprehensive pricing analyses, encompassing competitor analysis, detailed cost modeling, and profitability assessments
Develop and maintain pricing models, using AI algorithms, to accurately assess the impact of price changes on revenue, profit margins, and customer behavior
Recommend pricing strategies based on market research, business objectives, and financial goals, using AI-driven insights
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Finance, and Marketing, to align pricing strategies with business strategies
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of pricing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and adjustment
Research current market trends, competitive pricing strategies, AI advancements, and industry regulations to ensure pricing competitiveness and compliance

Requirements:

4+ years of experience as an accounting or finance professional
Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or similar role, with a focus on utilizing AI methodologies, conducting pricing analysis, and developing pricing strategies
Business degree, with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Actuarial Science
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex pricing concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
