We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious Senior Pricing Analyst to join Admiral’s fast growing Travel Insurance product. This is a high profile role for someone keen to take on greater responsibility, influence strategic decisions and help shape the future of Travel pricing. Travel Insurance is a key part of Admiral’s diversification strategy, with Pricing playing a central role in driving profitable growth. As the portfolio continues to expand, this role will focus on identifying and delivering pricing opportunities that strengthen our competitive position. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, take ownership of complex analytical work and act as a mentor within the Pricing team. The role offers strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
Job Responsibility:
Identifying and developing pricing opportunities within the travel insurance market
Delivering advanced data analysis on large and complex datasets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities
Leading deep dives into large losses and performance issues, sharing insight and recommendations with the wider pricing community
Supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of the Travel Insurance rating structure
Owning the quality, direction and delivery of complex numerical work to support sales growth and loss ratio performance
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts
Communicating insights, recommendations and outcomes clearly to senior decision makers
Working closely with stakeholders to refine and enhance rating variables
Collaborating with Pricing teams across Motor, Household and Pet to share learning and best practice
Staying informed on market, consumer and regulatory developments, working with pricing governance to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement
Supporting the implementation and testing of price changes.
Requirements:
Strong experience in pricing, data analysis or insurance related processes
Advanced analytical capability with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight
Experience working with large datasets and complex numerical models
Proven ability to take ownership of analytical work and deliver to a high standard
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to and influencing stakeholders at all levels
Experience supporting, coaching or mentoring others.
