College or university degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or similar
FCAS, ACAS or near completion level or equivalent designation
Minimum 5 years’ experience in property and casualty insurance, consulting and/or reinsurance
Proficient in MS Excel and preferable knowledge of Python, SQL, VBA or R with an ability to create and improve pricing tools, query data, build reports, etc.

Job Responsibility

Performing reinsurance treaty pricing for a wide range of business (Property, Casualty, Professional, Marine)
Discussing analyses with underwriters and management
Performing industry benchmarking analyses
Developing, enhancing, and maintaining actuarial models
Contributing to a wide variety of actuarial pricing projects to enhance workflows, capture data, and improve pricing methodologies
