Job Description

Senior Presales Systems Engineer – HPE Networking (Aruba + Juniper) - Los Angeles Region. This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home. We are seeking an experienced Presales Systems Engineer to join the HPE Networking team, now strengthened by the integration of Aruba and Juniper Networks. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, driving adoption of advanced networking solutions across enterprise and public sector environments. You will leverage your deep networking expertise to design architectures, lead technical engagements, and influence strategic decisions. This role will be supporting the Los Angeles region.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expert guidance on HPE Networking solutions, including Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation
  • Partner with account teams to understand customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, and create compelling solution proposals
  • Design complex networking solutions that align with customer business objectives and technical requirements
  • Lead POCs and solution validation activities to demonstrate value and performance
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging innovations
  • share insights with customers and internal teams
  • Support channel partners with technical training and solution positioning

Requirements

  • 7+ years in networking or IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a presales or customer-facing technical role
  • Proven experience designing and presenting enterprise networking solutions
  • Deep knowledge of network design principles, routing/switching, wireless, security, and SD-WAN
  • Familiarity with cloud-managed networking, automation, and AI-driven operations
  • Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Candidates must reside within the greater Los Angeles region and have the ability to travel to customer sites throughout the Los Angeles region on a regular basis

  • Understanding of SLED environments and procurement processes
