Job Description

Responsible for architecting solutions that achieve customer business outcomes, providing technical expertise to sales teams and customers, and developing proposals that meet customer requirements. In-depth knowledge in solution domains and familiarity with competitive intelligence required.

Requirements

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications
  • Advanced degree in technology preferred
  • 8+ years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
  • Knowledge-based as well as 1+ experienced-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are helpful, but not required
  • Advanced experience participating in and leading solution configurations and the creation of demos and proofs-of-concept (POC) to meet customer requirements
  • Advanced understanding of the company portfolio of products, software, services, solution domain specialization, adjacent solution domain(s), and how they can be combined to address customer needs
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and storytelling, and the ability to communicate in English
  • Demonstrates advanced discussion and persuasion skills
  • Advanced business and financial acumen
  • Advanced consultative/value selling skills
  • Hands on experience with one or more products, solutions, tools, or services aligned to respective job responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of hands-on with one of major public clouds (Amazon, Azure, Google) – certifications preferred
  • 5+ years of selling experience with a major storage company (Dell/EMC, Pure, NetApp)
  • Demonstratable knowledge in virtualization, and at least 2 application stacks (MSSQL, Oracle, SAP etc.)
  • Expert in selling complete data lifecycle management portfolio – block, file, backup, ransomware protection & others
  • Deep competitive knowledge of at least 1 major storage vendor
  • Demonstratable technical knowledge of storage industry and major trends
  • Self-starter and able to ramp quickly.
