Job Description:

Senior Presales Architect role focused on unstructured data solutions within HPE's Storage Portfolio. The position involves engaging with customers, partners and colleagues to create solutions addressing customer unstructured data needs, identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage with customers, partners and colleagues to create solutions that address customer unstructured data needs
  • Help identify opportunities, then develop and articulate compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals
  • Ensure customer's business and technical requirements are met
  • Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Track industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to industry developments at conferences and events
  • Design storage solutions aligned to customer's business requirements
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions and articulate value proposition
  • Collaborate with account team leadership to develop key value propositions
  • Proactively contribute to building pipeline by identifying opportunities
  • Document ongoing work throughout sales cycle
  • Develop professional relationships with customer technical teams and key executives

Requirements:

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications
  • Technical experience in IT with a focus on unstructured data (file and object) solutions
  • 3–5 years experience in file and object technologies
  • Knowledge-based and experienced-based relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred
  • Well-developed knowledge and experience in identifying and exploiting unstructured data opportunities
  • Well-developed consultative and value selling skills
  • Understanding of the indirect selling model including direct and joint engagement with partners
  • Business and financial acumen
