Senior Presales Architect - Compute role primarily responsible for architecting solutions that will achieve customer business outcomes for Tier 1 cloud solution providers. This role develops and articulates compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals and ensures customer's business and technical requirements are met. Provides technical expertise to sales teams and customers aimed at gaining customer mindshare within their domain.

Develop and articulate compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals
Ensure customer's business and technical requirements are met
Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through sales presentations and product/solution demonstrations
Develop compelling customer proposals and critically review them
Quantify the impact of business problems and position business value
Provide input to all global business units to address IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs
Translate outcome-based solutions into functional solution design
Communicate how solution value propositions address customer business needs
Track leading-edge and emerging technologies
Contribute to industry development through conferences and industry events
Incorporate understanding of technology trends within IT industry and customer's industry
Gather and apply competitive intelligence
Drive Account Business Planning process
Participate in deep-dive discussions and build customer relationships
Produce comparative analysis of alternative approaches
Develop, configure, and right size optimal workload solutions
Transfer knowledge to external partners
Proactively build pipeline by identifying opportunities
Monitor account pipeline and nurture active deals
Participate in sales forecast meetings
Document ongoing work throughout sales cycle
Build strong professional relationships with customer key executives
Share knowledge with peers and help develop junior team members
Requirements:
First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications
Advanced degree in technology preferred
8–12 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
Knowledge-based as well as 1+ experienced-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred
Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are helpful
Advanced experience participating in and leading solution configurations and the creation of demos and proofs-of-concept
Advanced understanding of company portfolio of products, software, services, solution domain specialization
Advanced ability to translate aaS and complete ecosystem, differentiated value, solutions, and workloads
Advanced understanding of aaS business model variations
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and applicable local languages
Advanced business and financial acumen
Advanced consultative/value selling skills
Advanced company business knowledge, technical tools, and standard customer relationship management systems
Advanced resource management skills
Hands on experience with one or more products, solutions, tools, or services
Advanced project and time management knowledge
