Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) in Consumer and Small Business Banking as part of Branch Banking to acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers, deepen existing relationships, and provide advice regarding Wells Fargo’s financial solutions. This SAFE position requires compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and successful completion of licensing requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers and deepen existing relationships
  • review and analyze customer concerns for possible resolution
  • escalate banking issues or business risks
  • advise customers on financial options and services
  • maintain deep knowledge of Wells Fargo’s financial solutions
  • identify client needs for mortgage, retirement, and investment services
  • manage risks by adhering to policies and regulations
  • collect and analyze customer information to develop customized financial plans
  • build relationships with colleagues and partners
  • exercise independent judgment in client relationship management
  • provide guidance to branch employees regarding client needs

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of customer service experience
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or recognized FINRA equivalents)
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • adherence to Wells Fargo sales practices risk management culture
  • SAFE registration required
  • ability to work a schedule that may include Saturdays
  • compliance with relevant policies and regulations

Nice to have:

  • Experience recommending financial services products and services
  • financial services industry experience
  • customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions
  • knowledge of book of business processes
  • knowledge of Branch Banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • ability to educate and connect customers to digital banking
  • strong business acumen for consultation
  • experience mentoring and peer-coaching others
