Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) in Consumer and Small Business Banking. The role involves acquiring new customers, deepening relationships, analyzing customer concerns, advising on financial solutions, maintaining deep knowledge of Wells Fargo’s offerings, managing risks, and partnering with peers to support customer needs. The position also includes compliance with licensing requirements and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers, and deepen existing relationships, through outreach and pre-planned appointments
  • Review and analyze moderately complex customer concerns for possible resolution
  • Escalate banking related issues or business risks
  • Advise customers on various aspects of financial options and services
  • Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo’s banking, credit, and investment financial solutions
  • Identify client needs for business, mortgage, retirement, and investment services
  • Partner closely with peers to address specific customer needs
  • Understand and manage risks by adhering to policies, procedures, and controls
  • Collect income, assets, investments, credit information from customers
  • Analyze and develop customized plans identifying Wells Fargo's banking options
  • Build and retain relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners
  • Manage client relationships through regular meetings
  • Provide guidance to other branch employees on complex client needs

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) is required for this role or must be completed within a specified period
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite will be required
  • State Insurance license(s) are required for this role and must be completed within a specified period
  • SAFE registration and compliance with Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 requirements
  • Ability to work most Saturdays
  • Meeting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
  • Adherence to Wells Fargo sales practices risk management culture
  • Maintaining financial fitness and passing criminal background standards

Nice to have:

  • Financial services industry experience in corporate, consumer, mortgage, investments, brokerage, or private banking
  • Experience recommending financial services products and services
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or recognized FINRA equivalents)
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of book of business processes
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching others
