Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Premier Banker to provide banking, credit, and investment solutions to affluent customers. Responsible for acquiring new clients, advising on financial options, and adhering to compliance regulations. Provides guidance to colleagues, builds strong relationships, and manages risks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers, and deepen existing relationships, through outreach and pre-planned appointments
  • Review and analyze moderately complex customer concerns for possible resolution through discretionary application of applicable resolution protocols
  • Escalate banking related issues or business risks that require an in-depth evaluation
  • Advise customers on various aspects of recommended and available financial options and services
  • Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo’s banking, credit, and investment financial solutions and services
  • Identify client needs and goals for business, mortgage, retirement, and investment services, then partner closely with peers to meet those needs
  • Understand and manage risks in the business by adhering to policies, procedures, and controls
  • Collect information directly from customers regarding income, assets, investments, and credit to develop customized plans
  • Build relationships with branch colleagues, affluent customers, and partners to retain relationships and help customers succeed financially
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in managing client relationships
  • Participate in the Branch Banking Licensed Banker licensing program as required

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • State Insurance license(s) are required for this role and must be completed within a specified period
  • Compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and Regulation Z (LO)
  • Licensing requirements determined by number of licenses needed and communicated upon offer acceptance

Nice to have:

  • Financial services industry experience in one or a combination of the following: corporate, consumer, mortgage, investments, brokerage, or private banking
  • Experience recommending financial services products and services
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or recognized FINRA equivalents)
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of book of business processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of Branch Banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of self-service digital banking options
  • Experience using strong business acumen to provide financial services consultation to small business customers
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services consumer lending products
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees
  • High motivation with ability to successfully meet team objectives while maintaining individual performance
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching others
