Microlise builds exceptional technology, and now we’re looking for a Senior Presales Consultant who can turn that innovation into measurable customer value. As a Senior Presales Consultant, you’ll lead high‑impact, value‑driven engagements, shape outcome‑led solutions, and prove real‑world results using the MEDDPICC framework. You will define where customers are today, paint a clear vision of where they can go, and create proof‑of‑value that strengthens Microlise’s market story. As a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Sales, Product and Customer Success, you’ll be at the heart of winning complex deals through evidence‑led value.
Job Responsibility:
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder discovery engagements with enterprise and strategic customers
Identify, quantify and validate operational, financial, safety, compliance and sustainability pain
Capture customer baseline metrics, inefficiencies, risks and cost drivers as part of MEDDPICC qualification
Define customer success criteria and outcome hypotheses aligned to executive priorities
Partner with Sales to shape deal strategy, qualification and value positioning
Engage with operational, commercial and executive stakeholders to understand current-state performance and future-state ambition
Lead customer site visits and operational deep dives to uncover transformation and optimisation opportunities
Act as a senior value advisor on fleet efficiency, safety, compliance, productivity and cost reduction
Design outcome-led solutions across the full Microlise portfolio
Shape multi product propositions that address end-to-end operational challenges
Own value positioning in complex bids and RFP responses
Develop outcome led commercial narratives for C-level engagement
Contribute flagship case studies and reference accounts
Support Sales in executive-level negotiations with quantified business impact
Design Proof of Value programmes that demonstrate operational and commercial impact
Define success metrics, validation plans and outcome targets for every major opportunity
Own pre-sales solution confidence and value positioning prior to contract signature
Lead creation of strategic value cases, ROI models and cost-of-inaction assessments
Act as senior voice of the customer into Product, Engineering and Strategy
Participate in Product Steering, Microlise Direct and Labs forums
Test and validate value hypotheses with strategic customers
Set the standard for value-led discovery, qualification and solution design
Requirements:
Deep understanding of Microlise products, customers and enterprise use cases
Significant experience in senior customer-facing technical consulting or solution architecture
Strong grasp of value-based selling and outcome-led solution design
Working knowledge of MEDDPICC, particularly Metrics and Pain
Ability to quantify enterprise-scale operational, financial and compliance impact
Strong commercial acumen and executive-level business judgement
Advanced presentation, proposal writing and financial modelling skills
Confident engaging with C-suite and operational leadership teams
Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex customer problems
