Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience in technology consulting, solutioning, and pre-sales. This role focuses on end-to-end ownership of discovery, solution definition, proposal development, and SOW/MSA creation, working in close partnership with KAMS, Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead collaborative discovery and solution workshops with prospective and existing clients
  • Partner closely with Sales and Account teams to shape solution scope, assumptions, and value propositions
  • Analyze RFPs/RFIs/RFQs to identify requirements, risks, assumptions, and dependencies, and support well-informed responses
  • Proactively surface risks, gaps, and alternative approaches during client and internal discussions
  • Present solutions and proposals to client stakeholders with clarity and confidence, adapting communication to different audiences
  • Translate business goals into functional, non-functional, and high-level technical requirements
  • Create and maintain pre-sales artifacts such as BRDs, FRDs, workflows, process maps, and solution approach diagrams
  • Work closely with Architecture, Engineering, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to align on feasibility, estimates and timelines
  • Clearly document scope boundaries, assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies to support shared understanding across teams
  • Lead the end-to-end development of proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) from initial structuring through client finalization
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Admin, Delivery, and Operations teams to gather inputs related to commercials, timelines, SLAs, and contractual considerations
  • Ensure proposals and SOWs are clear, consistent, delivery-aligned, and commercially sound
  • Support client discussions around scope, assumptions, commercials, and contractual clarifications in partnership with Sales
  • Act as a key connector between Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams during the pre-sales lifecycle
  • Help balance speed, scope, margin, and delivery considerations through structured analysis and open collaboration
  • Support a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery by ensuring clarity on scope, assumptions, and expectations

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong pre-sales and client-facing exposure
  • Proven experience leading proposals, SOWs, and client-facing documentation
  • Experience working on technology-driven solutions (SaaS, Web, Mobile, Cloud, Data, AI)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior business and technical stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and storytelling abilities
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without formal authority
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and multiple stakeholder perspectives
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions thoughtfully, and guide discussions toward clarity
