As a Children and families Social Worker, you will support with the recruitment of foster carers. You will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals and have a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Job Responsibility:
Support with the recruitment of foster carers
Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals
Have a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Develop robust partnerships with other teams and outside agencies
to include the police, health, schools and voluntary organisations
Requirements:
A degree in Social Work and you must have completed your ASYE
Registration with Social Work England (SWE)
Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
Strong assessment and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham
Have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK
