Senior Practitioner - Child Protection

• Manage a complex caseload of child protection cases, ensuring the highest standards of safety and intervention
• Act as a practice lead, supporting and guiding less experienced Social Workers and ASYE students
• Lead by example in assessments, court reports, and child protection planning, ensuring all work is evidence-based and child-centric
• Support the Team Manager in high-level decision-making and representing the authority in multi-agency forums

• Degree in Social Work and active Social Work England registration
• Extensive experience working within a statutory Child Protection or Court team
• Ability to model best practices and provide informal supervision to colleagues
• Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills for court proceedings and family conferences
