Job Description

As part of a team of high-level consultants, you will leverage your power systems and power markets skills and your interest in energy and sustainable development.

Job Responsibility

  • Design power systems operation and planning tools, both for internal uses in studies and for our customers
  • Perform quantitative analyses using our software and based on the modelling of electrical and energy systems
  • Presenting and refining the results in interaction with our customers, helping them in their decision-making process
  • Actively participate in acquiring new clients: identify prospects, understand their needs, define our value proposition, take initiative, and respond to requests for proposals

Requirements

  • Degree from an engineering school, a master or a Ph.D. in power systems or applied mathematics
  • At least 3 years of post-master experience
  • Experience in power systems / markets acquired in a company or during a Ph.D.
  • Interest for mathematical and quantitative approaches, and comfortable with fundamental mathematical techniques
  • Decision-making goes hand in hand with rigorous and intelligent analysis
  • Rigorous, have a strong team spirit and are focused on the customer’s needs
  • Familiar with Python
  • Good writing skills
  • Fluent in both spoken and written French, Spanish or Italian
  • A minimum level of C1 in English is expected

Nice to have

Experience at a Transmission System Operator (TSO) or a power exchange is a plus
