Senior Power BI Developer responsible for designing and building scalable data models, cleaning and digitally transforming data, and enabling sophisticated analytic capabilities in Power BI. This is a hybrid office-based/work-from-home position within the United States. The employee can work remotely from within the United States but must be able to work in the Pittsburgh office at least three (3) days per week.
Job Responsibility:

Cleaning and digitally transforming data
Enabling sophisticated analytic capabilities in Power BI
Collaborating with data scientists, project leads, and stakeholders to understand their data visualization requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards
Writing SQL queries that include aggregation
Translating reporting needs into technical specifications, calculations, custom groups, parameters, filtering criteria, and aggregations, and strive to optimize model performances
Building data models, custom measures, and dimensions using DAX operating on cached datasets and analysis services
Requirements:
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a computer-related or engineering-related field
Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position
Five (5) years with Microsoft Data Stack (including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS)
Four (4) years with Microsoft Power BI
Four (4) years with SQL, MDX, or DAX data query languages
Three (3) years with data warehousing and data modeling
Two (2) years designing and executing data mining and text mining processes to identify patterns and trends
Two (2) years developing predictive models using statistical techniques and data mining algorithms in the manufacturing industry
