Job Description:

As a PowerBI consultant, you will help our clients solve complex BI issues. You collect data from different sources, build sustainable data models, optimize datasets for reporting, and develop user-friendly PowerBI dashboards. Based on your expertise and the Sopra Steria BI methodology, you will increase the quality of reporting and visualization at our customers. Within our Data Visualization team, we work closely together and aim to help each other grow.

  • Contribute to the vision and development of the Data Visualization team

Requirements:

  • You have at least 3 year of experience with data visualization and can demonstrate this with a demo or portfolio
  • You have at least 3 year demonstrable experience with PowerBI
  • You have experience with performance tuning of PowerBI solutions
  • You dare to be creative, but do not lose sight of the details
  • Knowledge of best practices and visual design principles
  • You act as an expert and coach people
  • You communicate fluently, both with your colleagues and the customer
  • A good knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and programming languages such as javascript, python, C# is also a plus
  • Data visualization is your passion
  • Adding your dashboards or portfolio in the application is a plus
  • Knowledge of exernal tools like Tabular editor are a plus
  • You are proficient in English and Dutch and/or French
