Job Description:

As a PowerBI consultant, you will help our clients solve complex BI issues. You collect data from different sources, build sustainable data models, optimize datasets for reporting and develop user-friendly PowerBI dashboards. Based on your own expertise and the Sopra Steria BI methodology, you increase the quality of reporting and visualization at our customers. In addition, your input will contribute to the vision and development of our Data Visualization team.

Job Responsibility:

Help clients solve complex BI issues
Collect data from different sources
Build sustainable data models
Optimize datasets for reporting
Develop user-friendly PowerBI dashboards
Contribute to the vision and development of the Data Visualization team

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience with data visualization
At least 3 years of demonstrable experience with PowerBI
Experience with performance tuning of PowerBI solutions
Knowledge of best practices and visual design principles
Act as an expert and coach people
Fluent communication with colleagues and customers
Good knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C# is a plus
Proficiency in English
Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus

Nice to have:

Knowledge of HTML/CSS and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#
Knowledge of external tools like Tabular editor
Adding dashboards or portfolio in the application
