Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Consultant with expertise in building and optimizing high-performance Power BI solutions. If you can transform complex business needs into clear, data-driven dashboards and enjoy mentoring junior team members, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead BI Projects from gathering requirements, data acquisition to report/dashboard presentation, ensuring high performance and scalability
  • Be part of the Power BI dev seniors community to define best practices and propagate them within your Business Unit
  • Set up CI/CD processes for Power BI deployments with Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Act as a technical mentor and guide for mid-level and junior developers (code review, advisory work, optimization work, best practice implementation)

Requirements:

  • Power BI Development & Optimization expertise in designing and optimizing Power BI reports, focusing on high performance and scalability
  • Proficient in advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and complex visualizations
  • Skilled in managing Power BI Service and Report Server
  • Proficient in developing efficient data models using Dimensional modeling techniques
  • Strong experience in integrating data from multiple sources, including SQL, Azure Synapse, and Power BI Gateway
  • Familiar with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS
  • Proficient in Tabular Editor to manage and automate Power BI model development
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
  • Advanced SQL skills, particularly in optimizing queries for large datasets
  • Experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, and other cloud-based data warehouses
  • Extensive experience in engaging with clients and stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements
  • Skilled at translating complex business needs into technical data solutions
  • Passionate about mentoring mid-level and junior developers
  • Fluent in Polish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Power Platform, and Power BI administration
  • Experience with integrating Power BI into enterprise environments using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • Proficient in source control management and implementing CI/CD processes for Power BI report deployments
  • Experience working in Agile development teams (Scrum, Jira)
