Senior Postal Delivery Officer

• Operating and delivering on all modes of transport including Motorcycle, Electric Vehicle, Walking, and Electric Push Bike
• Working on different routes and modes of transport every day to cover runs in the Strathfield and wider catchment areas
• Starting your day early in the morning at 5am sorting both mail and small parcels
• Responsible to cover and deliver to multiple rounds
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
• Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
• Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence
• Experience and/or knowledge working within the courier/delivery industry is advantageous but not mandatory
• Resilient and able to adapt to high volume and pressure
• Flexible with working additional hours if required
• Successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
• Have a great memory, excellent attention to detail
• Can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
• Need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less

Experience and/or knowledge working within the courier/delivery industry

• 15% shift penalty plus overtime and meal allowances
