The Sr. PO Portfolio Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the priorities of the Precision Oncology (PO) portfolio of products by driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives outlined in the PO annual operating and mid-range plans. This role oversees large, high risk, and high-visibility initiatives that are critical to the organization, often involving complex challenges and wide-ranging impact. A hands-on role, the Sr. PO Portfolio Delivery Manager works closely with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration. Serving as a thought leader, the Sr. PO Portfolio Delivery Manager fosters cooperation across functions and engages with leadership to support key initiatives. This position ensures seamless integration and communication across multiple direct and related initiatives, partnering with leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with internal cross functional teams and senior leadership to develop strategies, goals, and initiatives to support the current and anticipated needs of the PO portfolio of products
Develop and present status updates to multiple audiences (initiative teams to leadership) that effectively convey status, obstacles and solutions, opportunities
Facilitate defining success metrics for a given initiative (OKRs and KPIs)
manage the tracking and reporting of those metrics
support the team in promoting their accomplishments
Maintain program metrics around initiative goals and communicate progress to key stakeholders
Drive positive organizational change management processes via planning, communications, and relationship management
Facilitate, organize, and monitor inter-connected initiatives, including coordination of cross-initiative activities
Manage escalation process when critical risks arise and manage dependencies across initiatives accordingly to minimize impact to the key deliverables
Assess organizational impacts for initiatives or programs and develop the appropriate tactics to best fit each audience with the right level of communications, engagement, training, and support
Ability to effectively collaborate as a part of a team and operate independently across initiatives based on complexity and needs

Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations
Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or other relevant field as outlined in the essential duties
4+ years of portfolio delivery experience with increasing scope and responsibility in diagnostic, biopharma, or medical device fields
Experience directly and/or indirectly leading people with demonstrated ability to communicate clear expectations, motivate and inspire others, and successfully achieve goals through a team
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams
Experience in relationship building, motivation, and curiosity to bring together different personalities for creative thinking and collaborative solutioning
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to influence multiple stakeholders and leaders without direct authority
Advanced problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to evolve operational models

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Scientific discipline, or field related to the essential duties of the job
7+ years of experience working in a team setting in healthcare, biopharma, medical device, or technology fields with experience in two or more of the following: strategic planning, business development, portfolio management, product development, product lifecycle management, operations management, and/or commercialization including sales or marketing
5+ years of experience working in U.S. and global regulated environments.
