The Senior Portfolio Advisor, EMEA will report to the Head of Portfolio Advisory. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative mindset, and a high degree of adaptability, thriving in the dynamic environment of a high-growth organization. They will be responsible for field and client engagement, acting as a key ambassador for the CIO's views. As a critical contributor to the CIO team, the Senior Portfolio Advisor will have responsibilities related to both investment solutions and client engagement functions. This role requires a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive and deliver centralized messaging around CIO Team's strategy, views, and performance with the field and clients.
  • Collaborate with field leadership on business development opportunities and strategic planning on business targets.
  • Be a strategic partner to broader CIO Team (research, portfolio management, the Lab, product) on messaging, advisor needs, and product development opportunities
  • Participate in the investment process alongside the CIO Strategy team in forming views and underwriting investment recommendations for whole portfolios as well as thematic and tactical opportunities.
  • Partner with investment solutions teams to align priority recommendations to views and new product development
  • Identify and initiate cross-business opportunities with the various coverage teams and investment solutions.
  • Ensure 100% compliance on all Citi policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience, preferably in developing and implementing Investment strategies across EMEA
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal teamwork and external partners
  • Deep knowledge of markets and multi-asset class portfolio construction
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors' products/services in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business.
  • Collaborative and excited to partner across practices and businesses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required for this role, coupled with interpersonal relationship management skills
  • Communication experience across a variety of audiences and mediums
  • Bachelor’s Degree required / Master’s Degree preferred
