Job Description

You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of product planning processes. You will own the relationship between the Platform+ Experience team and the Community Support Planning team. You will own the product planning process for the Platform + Experience. You will ensure the planning process runs smoothly, own communications with cross-functional stakeholders, and proactively identify opportunities to add value while addressing potential challenges, always striving to deliver measurable impact for our customers and the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan agenda and own logistics for major product planning meetings and gatherings, and drive follow up actions to completion
  • Communicate clear project plans including timelines, deliverables, and big rocks to the Platform Team
  • Project Manage planning processes ensuring PRD completion and hand-off to engineering
  • Provide transparent, proactive, and timely updates to requesters, leadership, and other customers of planning
  • Work cross functionally with Engineering and TPM teams to coordinate engineering sizing
  • Regularly report on the status of the planning process (KPIs) through a monthly executive summary
  • Calculate and maintain capacity estimates for the platform + experience team and CS Labs team
  • Allot work to the CS Labs team in alignment with the product roadmap and priorities
  • Maintain source of truth trackers and documentation

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or product operations roles with a proven track record of success
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional product planning or portfolio management processes with executive visibility
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and presentation, to all levels of an organization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of product management processes, experience working with engineering teams
  • Proficiency in virtual collaboration and project management tools like Asana, Jira, and Airtable
  • Strategic thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across teams
  • Hands-on, working knowledge of software product development life-cycle and methodologies. Specific experience with Agile is desired
  • Naturally accountable and responsible: Self-starter, self-motivated, focused, and self-sufficient
  • Strong strategic judgment: an ability to interpret organizational goals and translate them into planning activities
