You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of product planning processes. You will own the relationship between the Platform+ Experience team and the Community Support Planning team. You will own the product planning process for the Platform + Experience. You will ensure the planning process runs smoothly, own communications with cross-functional stakeholders, and proactively identify opportunities to add value while addressing potential challenges, always striving to deliver measurable impact for our customers and the business.
Job Responsibility:
Plan agenda and own logistics for major product planning meetings and gatherings, and drive follow up actions to completion
Communicate clear project plans including timelines, deliverables, and big rocks to the Platform Team
Project Manage planning processes ensuring PRD completion and hand-off to engineering
Provide transparent, proactive, and timely updates to requesters, leadership, and other customers of planning
Work cross functionally with Engineering and TPM teams to coordinate engineering sizing
Regularly report on the status of the planning process (KPIs) through a monthly executive summary
Calculate and maintain capacity estimates for the platform + experience team and CS Labs team
Allot work to the CS Labs team in alignment with the product roadmap and priorities
Maintain source of truth trackers and documentation
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or product operations roles with a proven track record of success
Proven experience leading cross-functional product planning or portfolio management processes with executive visibility
Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and presentation, to all levels of an organization
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Understanding of product management processes, experience working with engineering teams
Proficiency in virtual collaboration and project management tools like Asana, Jira, and Airtable
Strategic thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across teams
Hands-on, working knowledge of software product development life-cycle and methodologies. Specific experience with Agile is desired
