Senior Planning Solutions Lead – £60,000 – £70,000 + Bonus – Hybrid – Retail I’m working with a globally recognised consumer brand that is going from strength to strength and own some of the biggest names in the sporting retail market. This role is key for the team to scale planning solutions as it continues to grow. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, focusing on delivering scalable, enterprise-grade planning solutions rather than carrying out the planning itself. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how planning teams operate through best-in-class systems and tools. You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-performing environment, working alongside cross-functional teams to design and enhance solutions that support commercial performance across the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and deliver enterprise planning solutions across key business functions
  • Translate business requirements into technical models, rules, and system enhancements
  • Own the development and optimisation of planning templates and capabilities
  • Collaborate with planning, IT, and data teams to ensure integrated, best-practice solutions
  • Support ongoing system performance, improvements, and continuous innovation
  • Contribute to documentation, change management, and user enablement

Requirements

  • Experience delivering enterprise planning solutions (Board, Anaplan, SAP SAC, Hyperion or similar)
  • Excellent knowledge working of SQL and
  • If you love data and use all parts to bring your technical capabilities to the planning system – this is the role for you!
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs
  • Open to the industry background – advantageous to come from Ecommerce/Retail
