Job Description:

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain. As ABTC continues to grow and strengthen our operations, we’re introducing a new role to help us better connect our business processes and systems: Senior Planning & SAP Systems Analyst. This position will play a key role in shaping how we use technology to manage and improve our financial, supply chain, and production workflows. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across teams, solving problems, and helping our systems run more efficiently as we scale. This is a chance to help shape the foundation of how ABTC’s systems connect and support our growing business. You’ll work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure we have the right tools, processes, and data to drive smart decisions and efficient operations. If you’re passionate about systems, enjoy collaborating across teams, and want to help ABTC continue to innovate and grow, this could be a great next step in your career.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary resource for ABTC’s SAP ERP system, supporting Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations
  • Partner with business leaders to understand process needs and translate them into SAP configurations and solutions
  • Help design and maintain workflows that ensure data accuracy, efficient reporting, and smooth cross-department operations
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, and new system integrations as we continue to expand our enterprise tools
  • Troubleshoot issues, support end users, and champion best practices for how we use SAP across the company
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve how we work through technology

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience working with SAP systems or similar enterprise software
  • Understanding of business processes in accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, or inventory management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Comfort working across departments and communicating with both technical and non-technical users
  • Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset—someone who enjoys making systems better every day

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, or PP modules
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with data tools or reporting (e.g., Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel)
What we offer:
  • Competitive salary
  • Company-sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Parental Leave
  • Company-sponsored Employee Assistance Program
  • Stock options
  • 401(K)
  • Flexible paid time off
