American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain. As ABTC continues to grow and strengthen our operations, we’re introducing a new role to help us better connect our business processes and systems: Senior Planning & SAP Systems Analyst. This position will play a key role in shaping how we use technology to manage and improve our financial, supply chain, and production workflows. Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary resource for ABTC’s SAP ERP system, supporting Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations
Partner with business leaders to understand process needs and translate them into SAP configurations and solutions
Help design and maintain workflows that ensure data accuracy, efficient reporting, and smooth cross-department operations
Support upgrades, enhancements, and new system integrations as we continue to expand our enterprise tools
Troubleshoot issues, support end users, and champion best practices for how we use SAP across the company
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve how we work through technology
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience working with SAP systems or similar enterprise software
Understanding of business processes in accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, or inventory management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Comfort working across departments and communicating with both technical and non-technical users
Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset—someone who enjoys making systems better every day
Nice to have:
Experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, or PP modules
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Familiarity with data tools or reporting (e.g., Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel)
