We're looking for someone who thinks strategically to lead our planning and programme design across the Nordic region, shaping our seasonal product portfolio and achieving commercial success through smart decision-making and specialist market insight.
Job Responsibility:
Define commercial strategies for different product groups and destinations, analyzing market trends and customer preferences to ensure we're relevant in our product offering
Planning passenger volumes will be a key part of your role, where you'll determine risk appetite and regional product needs by diving into previous seasons' performance and current market dynamics
You'll establish what sellable products we offer across the region, setting policies that determine product components and ensuring our portfolio truly meets customer needs and commercial objectives
Managing gateway and destination setups means you'll evaluate performance, define optimal risk levels with committed seats and beds, and recommend configuration changes that optimize our network
You'll decide when products and seasons go on sale, coordinating with central commercial teams and ensuring perfect market timing through collaboration with inventory, pricing, and marketing colleagues
Monitoring our beds-to-seats ratio will keep you connected with flight capacity management, FPS and APS teams, maintaining the right balance between accommodation and flight capacity across the region
You are an important stakeholder for the Nordic region in terms of destination-, product- and market expertise and in regular communication with the organisation for awareness of commercial needs and opportunities
Requirements:
You bring proven experience in commercial planning, product management, or programme design within the travel industry
Your understanding of tour operations, capacity planning, and risk management is solid, and you've successfully managed complex commercial relationships
You're analytical by nature, able to interpret market data and commercial performance metrics to guide strategic decisions with P&L impact
Your knowledge of the Nordic travel market and customer preferences, combined with experience in flight and accommodation inventory management, sets you apart
You're an excellent communicator and presenter who thrives in cross-functional teams, with fluency in English and local Nordic language(s)
