Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner to join our team in our Wangara head office. In the Senior Planner role, you will drive the creation and oversight of project and tender schedules, guide project teams on planning and sequencing tasks, and make sure construction timelines are achievable, efficient, and aligned with project goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and management of tender programs, collaborating closely with tender teams to ensure timely, high-quality submissions
  • Establish and oversee project baselines, master schedules, and progress reporting to provide clear visibility on project performance
  • Guide project teams to develop construction programs that are practical, achievable, and fully aligned with project scope and objectives
  • Review and interpret contractor and third-party program data, identifying risks and proactively mitigating impacts to project delivery
  • Provide strategic planning support, including methodology, work breakdown structures, and commissioning schedules, to optimise project execution
  • Foster strong client relationships by understanding objectives, providing expert advice, and responding promptly and professionally
  • Anticipate potential project issues, offering pragmatic solutions to ensure successful outcomes
  • Collaborate across project teams and stakeholders to enhance project delivery effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure planning and scheduling activities incorporate safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Prioritise competing demands effectively, while maintaining a commitment to continuous professional development and the growth of the planning function

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 7+ years’ experience in a Planner role
  • 3+ years in a Senior role
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
