St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative team who are committed to the delivery of excellent physiotherapy services to patients with life-limiting conditions.
Job Responsibility:
Part of an energetic team delivering palliative rehabilitation across the different services (IPU, Outpatients, and Community Palliative Care) in close collaboration with other multi-disciplinary team members
Requirements:
Be registered on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
A minimum of 3 years full-time (or equivalent) postgraduate experience
Demonstrate excellent organisational, leadership, time management, and communication skills
Demonstrate evidence of service development, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and research
Show evidence of continuing professional development relevant to palliative care, in the form of postgraduate qualifications or relevant courses
Full driving license and access to own vehicle
Nice to have:
Acute hospital experience
Recognised Lymphodema Qualification
Experience in palliative care and/or oncology
Candidates with experience in delivering high-quality rehabilitation to a wide cohort of patients including neuro-disability, frailty, or cancer
