St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative team who are committed to the delivery of excellent physiotherapy services to patients with life-limiting conditions.

Job Responsibility:

Part of an energetic team delivering palliative rehabilitation across the different services (IPU, Outpatients, and Community Palliative Care) in close collaboration with other multi-disciplinary team members

Requirements:

  • Be registered on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
  • A minimum of 3 years full-time (or equivalent) postgraduate experience
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, leadership, time management, and communication skills
  • Demonstrate evidence of service development, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and research
  • Show evidence of continuing professional development relevant to palliative care, in the form of postgraduate qualifications or relevant courses
  • Full driving license and access to own vehicle

Nice to have:

  • Acute hospital experience
  • Recognised Lymphodema Qualification
  • Experience in palliative care and/or oncology
  • Candidates with experience in delivering high-quality rehabilitation to a wide cohort of patients including neuro-disability, frailty, or cancer
