Job Description

Senior Physiotherapist (Grade 3) Early Rehabilitation Stream (Neurological/General Rehab). Part time opportunity working 24 hours per week. Parental leave cover until October 2026. You will be recognised as a leader in the provision of early rehabilitation in an acute setting with an interest in Neurosurgery/Amputees and Neurology. You will be a leader in building and contributing to knowledge and will encourage teaching, research and mentoring within the Early Rehabilitation clinical stream.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver expert assessment and evidence-based early rehabilitation for patients with neurological, neurosurgical, and general rehabilitation needs
  • Provide consultation to the multidisciplinary team regarding complex discharge planning and clinical issues
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, students, and Allied Health Assistants

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in acute early rehabilitation and neurological physiotherapy
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, teaching, and mentoring
  • A passion for developing services and contributing to research and quality improvement
