Permanent, hybrid opportunity, based in Sydney or Brisbane. As our Senior Performance & Reward Analyst, lead the technical execution of remuneration processes, from reward cycles and job evaluations to award-covered salary modelling. Support your peers as a technical coach, uplifting the squad’s analytical standards while ensuring all outcomes are accurate and insight-rich. Bring your expertise in governance and compliance frameworks, ensuring that our reward operations remain audit-ready and aligned with modern awards and group policies.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the execution of core reward activities, including annual remuneration cycles, job evaluations, and benchmarking, while ensuring high-quality analysis
  • Conduct advanced data modelling and analysis for scenarios such as award-covered salary setting, pay equity, and cost impact assessments
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching and guidance to the team, sharing knowledge and developing tools (guides, templates) to uplift overall team capability and analytical standard
  • Ensure the technical execution of compliance activities, including monitoring, exception analysis, and audit preparation, to maintain defensible, well-governed reward operations, fully aligned with Modern Awards and Policy
  • Produce accurate, insight-rich data packs and technical advice to support Reward Partners and other key internal stakeholders in making informed, timely decisions
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements across reward processes, governance controls, and documentation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience within the remuneration and reward operational field with strong, data-driven recommendations
  • Proven track record in executing annual salary reviews, STIP delivery, and job evaluations within large-scale, complex organisations
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with the ability to build complex scenario models and cost-impact analyses
  • Strong discipline in maintaining compliance controls, preparing audit evidence, and documenting high-quality SOPs to ensure risk mitigation
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS compensation modules (such as SuccessFactors)
  • A solid understanding of Modern Award provisions (desirable)
  • Demonstrated confidence in mentoring other analysts, sharing technical knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a team
