Historically, we relied on inbound marketing to drive pipeline. We believe this next phase of growth will require us to generate more demand upmarket and we’re looking for a creative, data-driven marketer to lead these efforts. We’re excited to invest more to grow pipeline, expand brand awareness, and optimize our digital presence. We just need an expert to help us hone our performance marketing strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, own, and communicate paid marketing strategy
own the pipeline goal from paid channels
define, track and report out on key performance indicators and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
know how to build a plan to hit your number, and if something’s off know when and how to pivot
manage and optimize campaigns
write and refine ad copy, collaborate on creative assets, set bidding strategies and allocate budget to drive volume and gain efficiency in paid search, paid social and Google display network
regularly refine audience targeting to ensure we’re always reaching the right people with the right message
experiment with new channels
identify opportunities for new channel investments (paid social, affiliate, direct mail, ABM), drive alignment with leadership, launch campaigns and create the game plan for evaluating their performance
collaborate to drive impact
partner with other marketers so that all assets have strong messaging, compelling creative and relevant distribution
enhance landing pages and email sequences for campaigns led by other teammates
elevate technical execution
improve marketing operations, website performance and cross-functional handoffs
figure out how AI can help automate processes and improve velocity
Requirements:
scrappy, results-driven mindset
comfortable working with ambiguity and motivated to build something from scratch
expert with experience across a variety of paid channels
knowledge of search landscape and ideal benchmarks for PPC, CPM, and ROAS
strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and attribution tools
ability to experiment and adapt strategy based on data insights
excellent verbal and written communication skills
adept at presenting performance insights and strategies to cross-functional teams and senior leaders
comfortable operating on a lean team and with a modest budget
