Job Description

Adyen is looking for a Senior People Operations & Transformation Partner to join the Global HR Innovations Team to further drive the international growth of the company. Our aim as a team is to support the development, management and retaining of our talented Adyen workforce - we keep our people moving to keep payments moving. With a curious and innovative-driven mindset, you will be responsible for ensuring our employee experience is seamless, consistent, and scalable throughout the employee lifecycle. Your expertise will be used to analyze operational pain points, lead process redesign initiatives, and leverage our core HR systems to eliminate manual work. This role requires a unique blend of deep operational experience, technical fluency in HR systems, and a proven ability to lead organizational change whilst being a highly strategic and hands-on individual contributor.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively review, analyze, and map complex people processes, identify bottlenecks and system utilization gaps to design and implement simple, automated, and scalable solutions
  • Standardize and document People Operations policies, procedures, and workflows company-wide to ensure compliance, consistency, and readiness for future growth
  • Utilize data to measure operational performance, propose and execute changes based on clear business cases and ROI for efficiency
  • Evaluate new HR technology and partner with People Analytics and Technology to drive innovation through data and systems enhancing operational clarity, automation and scalability
  • Establish process governance standards, ensuring accuracy, security, and integrity across all people processes and systems
  • Act as an escalation point for complex HR process inquiries, providing expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve systemic issues
  • Act as the process expert defining the requirements for system changes (HRIS, ATS) needed to support improved operational workflows
  • Execute necessary configuration changes within the core HRIS (e.g., setting up new workflows, updating custom fields, process validation) to support process improvements
  • Execute and support the implementation of operational frameworks that drive efficiency and maintain a strong employee experience

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing or scaling HR operations, with expertise in utilizing data and systems to enhance and scale processes
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse), to optimize global people operations
  • Ability to manage complex, end-to-end projects with cross-functional dependencies
  • Ability to break down processes, identify solutions where possible, and translate business needs into technical system requirements
  • Ability to communicate operational concepts clearly to technical teams and drive consensus with non-technical business partners
  • Curious, innovative mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes and bring forward scalable, employee centric solutions
  • Experience at a fast-paced, high growth, global company
