The Senior People Data Scientist role involves driving experimental design and advanced statistical analysis to support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives while working with global teams and stakeholders. Ethical practices in employee data management are a priority. The role requires strong technical skills in data analysis and communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Responsibility:
Apply subject matter expertise in the employee experience along with strong quantitative analysis skills to drive the experimental design of the survey program, its implementation, analysis (including advanced statistical analyses), and reporting for the company’s key employee engagement initiative
design, implement, analyze, and evaluate employee engagement, other lifecycle survey programs, and intervention strategies (e.g., coaching) in support of employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
apply knowledge of advanced statistics with demonstrated ability to identify and conduct analyses using multiple sources of organizational data to provide accurate, thoughtful actionable insights for optimizing engagement and team effectiveness
advise on and guide the development of associated behavior change offerings at the individual, team, and organization level
partner with global teammates, leaders, the people team, and other stakeholders across the organization to continue to understand current and emerging engagement challenges
meaningfully interpret data relative to business objectives applying statistical analysis techniques such as regression, longitudinal analysis, factor analysis, clustering, hierarchical linear modeling and statistical packages such as R, Q/DisplayR or SPSS
communicate analyses and research insights and recommendations through concise, credible communications for both technical and non-technical audiences, such as executives, HR, and functional leaders, to inform and drive action, demonstrating strong presentation skills when explaining data and connecting it to potential actions
proactively identify and prioritize opportunities for employee engagement, wellbeing, and related research, driving the team’s ongoing research roadmap
prioritize ethical practices in the management, analysis and reporting of employee-related data, including the communication of sensitive insights to executives and leaders
engage different stakeholders and conduct focus groups
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology, organizational development, HR/business analytics or a related field plus 4 years (48 months) of professional experience in data science and analytics, including experience in evidence-based employee engagement and wellbeing programs
experience designing, implementing, analyzing, and evaluating employee engagement, other lifecycle survey programs, and intervention strategies (e.g., coaching) in support of employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
experience applying knowledge of advanced statistics with demonstrated ability to identify and conduct analyses using multiple sources of organizational data to provide accurate, thoughtful actionable insights for optimizing engagement and team effectiveness
demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis techniques such as regression, longitudinal analysis, factor analysis, clustering, hierarchical linear modeling
experience communicating research insights and recommendations to executives, HR, and functional leaders to inform and drive action
